I recently grew dissatisfied with the level of detail that the vanilla minimap provides and thus I propose to add a way to change the scale of ingame minimap to Factorio.
Not as in UI scale but a separate way to zoom the minimap in (and out).

I propose:
Ctrl+Shift++ to zoom in
Ctrl+Shift+- to zoom out
