Bitters still spawning...

Hi,

short story, played first playthru with bitters etc, then i tested without bitters and i liked it more...im lazy.... and now after i decided about a map and resource distribution setup, i started new game, i just build my first space taxi, but i needed more oil so i went on nauvis in search for it , and found bitters, spwaning, and worms... this save have checked out enemies and evolution and pollution.... and all i wanted is the eggs to not hatch in bitters or bitters in general...is this a bug? i cannot test now if eggs hatch into bitters coz then i would start a new map, but then how do i know i dont encounter same bug.... :|

anyone else had this experience?

Checking out ennemy evolution doesn't prevent them from spawning, that doesn't sound like a bug, more a misunderstanding of the starting setups.

Have you made the game peaceful ?

Is your question whether bitters spawn with pollution, expansion, and evolution disabled?

i said this map has checked out bitters AND evolution AND pollution.. cmon ppl ...

So noone had encountered this issue, ill start new map ...hoping its just a bug or something

You're using different terminology than we're used to, so I wanted to make sure I understood what you were asking.

To summarize the options:
  • Disabling enemy expansion means that enemy based will be formed as the map is generated, but none will be created after that.
  • Disabling evolution means that you will never get harder enemies (medium, big, behemoth)
  • Peaceful mode means that enemies will not attack you unless you attack them
  • No enemies mode means that bases (spawners/worms) will be generated (this is necessary for progression on Gleba), but no enemies will spawn from them.
So there is no way to stop spawners from being generated, but "no enemies" mode seems to be what you are looking for.

If you have enemies spawning and checked "no enemies" when you generated the map, please post a copy of your save in the bug reports subforum.

Plenty of people have encountered this issue. As far as I know, they all missed a setting on map creation, which is why people are trying to help you figure out which setting you missed.
