Damaged items clog assemblers.

Having a damaged item in a recipe input of a building prevents any undamaged items of the same kind being placed in it.
For example Military Science needs 2x walls. Having a single damaged wall in the input prevents the inserter from being able to deposit an undamaged wall.

I would expect the assembler to be able to merge the damaged and undamaged items together in the same way multiple damaged items average out their HP. Alternatively, I would expect the logistics network to not supply damaged items to fulfill request as this is what caused me to discover this problem.

A further problem is there isn't an easy way to solve it from another planet. Removing the item just dumps it back into the logi network, and a bot will redeliver it to a requester chest eventually. The only workable solution I've found involves trying to actively use splitters to siphon the items off the belt into a box, and then destroy the box with a remote control tank or artillery.
