The default lamp color is incorrect: it shows 255/255/191 instead of the pure white 255/255/255 which it has defaulted to ever since.

The wiki does not mention a change in color in version history of lamp.

Expected behaviour: Newly placed lamp has default color of 255/255/255.

Are you playing with pyanodons? It changes the default color to be exactly this.

No. The incorrect color appears in Vanilla 2.0 with or without Space Age.

Ah, my bad, I was misinformed.

This has actually been the default color since 1.1 - it did not change in 2.0.

Specifically, it was broken since forever and ignored the light color from the prototype. It was fixed due to 124548 noticing it.

I started a factory in 1.1 which has thousands of default white lamps. Loading this factory into 2.0 reveals that their color values are 255/255/255. Newly places lamps are beige with 255/255/191. The two colors look quite different in comparison.

Too bad the original white color that I was accustomed to for many years is no longer default, it looked better in my opinion.

Forgive my confusing statements, I was wrong. Here is what happened:

In 1.1.0, the default lamp color was changed to {1, 1, 0.75}. However, this wasn't actually being applied to lamps due to an engine bug that went unnoticed for years. A modder finally noticed this bug in 2.0, and it was fixed by Rseding for 2.0.33, so now the default lamp color is being applied correctly.

In any case, this is not a bug. If you wish the color to be reverted, feel free to make a suggestion in suggestions forum.
