In remote view, eye-dropping a mineral field gives an electric miner. From a player camera, it does a burner miner.

It would make sense for it to always return electric miner once it has been researched. The remote view already does this.

It's based on your inventory contents first, then it picks a ghost of the highest researched tier of miner. Solution: ditch your burner miners.

I don't have a burner miner in my inventory.

It looks like it's putting the burner-mining-drill *signal* in the cursor, not the burner drill ghost or item.

I don't understand what that means.

I'm standing on a patch of stone, completely naked except for my power suit. I have Vulcanus-level miners researched. If I hit Q, it selects the burner miner, and if I click to place it, it places a burner miner. If I open the map, it works as expected and selects a vulcanus miner.

So, there were *two* issues. One when pick-ghost-cursor was disabled and one when pick-ghost-cursor was enabled. Both are now fixed for the next release.
