Hi dear Wube-Team and forum members!

Today I had a crash while autosaving.
1.
2.
I was at Nauvis in a Spidertron in the middle of my base.
While autosaving ( the green process bar apeared), I opened the Spidertron Equipment grid and put in a Exoskeleton.

Then the process bar stopped at the first third, after 5 seconds the game just closed.

When I started Factorio again i wasn't able to open the last autosave:

3.
While the game is running the autosave should create a save file that's not corrupted and the game shouldn't crash while autosaving.
4.
It's happened once, but i will try to trigger this crash again and will inform you.

I don't have made a copy of the corrupted save file and now it's already overwritten, sorry :-/

The log file is attached.

-Singleplay
-No Mods
-Version 2.0.43 (build 82163 expansion, win64)

Kind regards!

The factory must grow!!!

The log does not show a crash. Unless you can reproduce it, there is nothing to go on.

Thank you for the fast response Loewchen

Strange that there isn't any sign of a crash in the log.

But in Windows Event Viewer I found something, is that helpful?:

Error message from Factorio says I/O error, maybe problem with HDD or SSD. Check System errors tab in Event Viewer so see if there's anything related to storage errors.
