Where do people do quality railgun turrets? Do people ship fluorketone to some other planet to make them, or do people do the quality upgrades on Aquillo?
I dread trying to build a quality upgrade system on Aquillo for obvious reasons (heat pipes). but shipping fluoroketone in barrels to another planet seems a little crazy. Of course, moving completed railguns one at a time to another planet seems to be a real non-starter.

I dumped in some quality modules and just let it run. I built my ship with regular railguns, and then went back and upgraded later.

And you didn't recycle all of the (less than legendary) railguns?

No, I just put them on the edges and weak points of my Shattered Planet ship where they were more likely to be destroyed and need replacement. I'm still figuring out how to build to get past about 100k.

I'm trying to make all legendary railguns, so I definitely need to set up an "upcycling" system (somewhere) to get to all legendary.

Why?

Clearly it's intended that you be able to do that, or it would be an unbarrelable fluid. There are some fluids in the game that you can't put in barrels, but fluoroketone isn't one of them.
