Belt feed recyclers without inserters

Recyclers should have input to feed from straight from belt. I am having much UPS issues and 1/3 are from inserters. And half inserters are pointing at recyclers. Having input without inserter would give huge boost to UPS.

If this were changed, it would break any existing construction where belts go behind recyclers, because suddenly the recyclers would be hoovering up items where they didn't before.

It would take only if belt is in position to input, so no feeding if it's pointed sideways or using underground belts

So it would be like a loader.
But then this would work differently from every other building in Factorio.
Probably somebody could write a mod to do this.
