cmd/Strg + z a bug or new feature after last patch?

It is no longer the last step that is undone, but the last complete action. Nice as an option, but not as a replacement for the previous behavior.

I set 10 belts, accidentally set an 11, I want to undo it and all 11 belts are torn down, what's the point? It's impossible to do speedruns like that. It drives me crazy.

Please let the old cmd/strg + z what it was and make a different key combination for the new behavior if this is really a feature.

Thanks for the report however that's intended. It was changed in 126636

But surely it is not intended that if you press cmd + z and then cmd y again, the old state is not restored, is it?

When going back and restoring, the old states are not reliably restored, I completely mess up my blueprints in the speedruns. It's actually hardly playable like this.

I can only hope that it will be introduced as a separate hotkey and that the normal cmd + z will return to the way it was, as it is now, you can no longer play sensibly.

We're talking about a level of complexity where a single incorrectly set arm can ruin hours of a run, a missing switch or similar destroys the whole speedrun.

Previously, cmd + z and cmd + y worked reliably in alternation, now errors very often occur when switching back and forth.

I would like you to always provide such serious game mechanics changes with an option in the game menu.

Thank you very much.

(can't see a 126636 in the linked thread)
