This computer disables Steam achievements

Yesterday I installed the mod rate calculator, which disabled achievements on steam, if I uninstall the mod and load an old save, will they work again or do I have to start a new game?

Achievements are en/disabled Per-Savefile.
If you load a “vanilla” Savefile in a Modded Game then Achievements will be disabled going forward. If you load the same Savefile in a Vanilla game then it should be fine.
