UI Improvement for Assembler Logistics Connection

When connecting an assembler with a configured recipe to the logistics network, the logistics condition should default to the item being produced. Alternatively, there could be a small button which fills in this default on press.

I don't understand this suggestion, an assembler cannot be connected directly to the logistics network? Did you perhaps mean circuit network?
If so, what is the purpose/what do you want to achieve with the a signal of what's being crafted, can't you just use a constant or use the same signal used to set the recipe (in case you also use the circuit network to set the recipe of the assembler).
Apologies if this comes off as rude, hope this is seen as constructive criticism!

I understood it as: when you change a recipe of a machine and its logistic connection's enable filter is empty, automatically set it to that recipe's product.

It's still ambiguous what to set in multi-product recipes, such as Uranium processing or Kovarex enrichment.

Oh wow, I didn't realize this functionality existed, today I learnt something!
So the idea is to save clicks while configuring, by copying the (main/first in case of multiple products) output item into the enable/disable condition?
+1 then, it makes sense that the most common use-case is the default :)

I agree, though it is worth pointing out that you can Q (pipette) the product and click it onto the slot, which is only 1 extra interaction.

Wow... I learned another thing :) The pipette is a game-changer. Setting the logistics condition on every assembler in an item mall is a hassle.
