I need an advice according to recently upgraded trains in Factorio, what is a better action for disable incoming trains to station? Just disable train station or limit the train numbers?

Or maybe both actions, for double check :-)

Doesn't matter. Disabling and setting limit to zero is effectively the same.
Disabling train stop no longer sends ongoing trains away. Disabled train stop is now considered full and trains will not skip schedule records.

I prefer to use the Limit feature, because the default is “0”, or Off; and all the logic can be kept in Combinators. Great when setting up new stations. With Enable you have to configure a condition IN THE TRAIN STOP, not just pass in “L”.

You can use Circuits to reduce/increase the number of trains depending upon your Needs, such as reducing Fluid Delivery trains from 3 to 2 to 1 as a Storage Tank’s Fluid count goes up; or increasing as a set of Chests holds more Items for an Output buffer.
