1. What did you do?
Started steam and opened factorio at office (online). When on bus (offline) selected and loaded save, and played for a bit. When my stop came up, saved game and closed laptop. When i got home (online), after a bit, opened laptop to keep playing, and got the crash dialog to report here.
2. What happened?
Game crashed and requested i report it
3. What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
I would keep playing this awesome game
4. Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
Just once - save loads normally now, and i often do the above and have not seen this before.

Note: log is a copy from my terminal where i checked the content, because the original file was overwritten when i restarted factorio to check if it repro'd. The bytes should be the same, but just in case the copy paste did something weird.
Note: no save file since it doesn't seem to reproduce, but i kept a copy (21MB) just in case it's useful - lmk.

I notice the log has

Code: Select all

libraries/SDL2/src/audio/coreaudio/SDL_coreaudio.m (675): default_device_changed
when opening the laptop, i was plugged into an external monitor via an "all in one" usb cable which includes a hub connection to a usb connect soundbar. This is my typical setup, but it's plausible that i turned it back on in a weird race condition while the laptop was just opened. Just letting you know in case that is relevant.

Thanks for the report, however the crash is happening in a place that is not (directly) under our control (it's crashing in an audio driver provided by SDL).
Given it doesn't happen all the time using the same setup, it was probably some unusual situation with audio devices (re)connecting, as you said.
So I'm moving this to Minor Issues.
