Setting filters on deconstruction planner in-hand (not placed in inventory yet) no longer works

Pre-2.0, I used a mod by raiguard called Blueprint Tools to do the following workflow quite frequently:
  1. Hit ALT+D to start a deconstruction planner
  2. A red button at the top left would appear, allowing you to modify the deconstruction planner in your hand. Clicking it would bring up the UI for editing the entities that you wanted/didn't want to be deconstructed.
  3. Set the filters up on the plan like I want, use the deconstruction planner, and then hit "esc" or "q" (I forget which at this point) to dismiss the planner. The planner would then be removed, and would not appear in the player inventory
The changed behavior is that now, clicking on the squares to set the entities in the deconstruction planner does nothing:

This issue was reported in the GitHub repo for the Blueprint Tools mod, and raiguard said that this is a change in Factorio itself, not the mod, and so should be fixed there:
This appears to be a change in Factorio 2.0 - it tries to set the slot to a deconstruction planner, but that is not a valid choice, so it does nothing.

This will have to be fixed in the game engine. I would recommend opening a bug report on the forums.
And so here I am :)

Thanks for the report. This is working as intended.
