The rail builder/planner fails in ghost and regular mode.
I can build straight rail tiles one at a time, including dragging and in ghost.
When I try to start a rail plan, click on arrow and left click to drag, the curser immediately shows red X. With or without holding shift.


Problem originated in previous game that I ended up just deleting because it was freezing too much (as soon as I expanded into space) but it happens with brand new game as well.

@Bunnie1978 I may not interpret your problem correctly, but when building railways you shouldn't hold left click, just simple left click on the yellow arrow from a rail segment, hold shift and you can ghost build any rail by moving your cursor wherever you want, left click again when you want to put down the ghost rail section.

The problem persists!
I know how to build rails and use the rail planner when it's functioning properly.
It seems to be related to mods.

I'm not sure. You know the red X curser that you get if you're trying to do an invalid build? I get that all the time. I can only place rails one at a time. No planner. No intersections. Really annoyed with this error. No idea how to fix it.

Could you post a picture and/or savefile?
