In train stop names, treat item wildcard icons as highest count item signal

TL;DR
Have trains see train stop names as if the item wildcard icon had been replaced by the item signal with the highest count.
What?
When a train selects a train stop to go to, it should see item wildcard signal icons ([virtual-signal=signal-item-parameter]) in the train stop names replaced by the corresponding item signal with the highest count sent to the train stop by circuit network.
It would also be nice to have this for liquids when playing an overhaul with more liquids.
Example station:
Wildcard item train stop 1.png
Wildcard item train stop 1.png (1.3 MiB) Viewed 268 times
Train stop name as set and seen by player:
Wildcard item train stop 2.png
Wildcard item train stop 2.png (30.15 KiB) Viewed 268 times
Train stop name as seen by trains:
Wildcard item train stop 3.png
Wildcard item train stop 3.png (21.27 KiB) Viewed 268 times
Why?
It allows for painlessly getting lots of different materials delivered by train to outposts and the mall.
I also want to make more items in small sub factories rather than the main base. Already got around 20 input train stations there, though. I would like to reduce that to roughly six (some bulk materials will likely still need dedicated stations for throughput reasons) while outsourcing 10 to twenty more items to sub factories and having them delivered by trains.

Are you talking about train stops in train's permanent schedule, or added by an interrupt?
Because it seems to me a stop added by an interrupt works exactly as you describe (apart from the selected item may be not necessarily the highest count item).

I'm a bit interested in this but I'm not sure what problem this is supposed to solve. Doesn't manipulating station priorities do this?
Maybe you're rolling with mixed trains and want to drop off the item which the train has most of first?
Are you wanting a station that receives mixed items call for a train carrying only the item it needs most?

This would be nice for permanent and interrupt schedules.
Interrupts and schedules select what station to go to. But my feature request changes the name of a station.
Interrupts remove the need to define all those targets and their wait conditions myself. But this feature request would allow me to have one input train stop to replace twenty train stops with fixed item names.
This is about changing the names of train stops, not which name the train searches for. This is the counterpart for the item wildcard in interrupts on the other side.

That's indeed what I want. It just didn't come up in my search.
