This was discussed on the discord this morning. And we can't agree if it is a bug or an intended design possibility. I don't think it should work, but it does.
Badly... But it works. Possibly by taking advantage of the double buffer 'pollution' mentioned in other bugs.

This is actually hilarious and would work well with a pulsed flow speed control setup. As long as the duty cycle is less than 50% you could have one fluid pulse right after the other. Wouldn't even need the recirculation pumps.

It's also taking advantage of circuit delay (the pump with different fluid is active one tick earlier than pump checking the amount).
