I am not seeing anything missing. Thruster flames are not part of the platform.

I see, it is indeed missing the thruster flame and not the platform. So is it not a bug that the thruster flames are missing?

Also see 124865 Inconsistent minimap details, where different visualization of thruster flames in separate contexts is deemed acceptable.

I read it. So you are saying that minimap does not show thruster frames. My point is that the thruster frames are halfway broken on GoF.

The Thruster Flames are rendered fine, if they are “in the screenshot”.

The Galaxy of Fame screenshot is cropped to the “Collision Box” of the Ship, which only includes the Thrusters themselves.

Workaround: add a Tail or Rudder to your ship. :-)

I see, so that is the cause of the bug. If so, I think not a bug is inappropriate, and won't fix is appropriate.
