Asteroid collectors disappear for no reason

Hi everyone! My friend and I use a setup for our space platform to fly to the destroyed planet and make promethium science packs. For some reason during our flights our asteroid collectors disappear sometimes - they turn into ghost buildings. It's quite annoying, because we'd need to have a lot of spare collectors. They are probably not getting destroyed by asteroids, as the damage of platform is 0 and I observed multiple times them to disappear without any apparent reason. The only interesting thing about collectors is that we connect them to a network to filter asteroid collection.
Do you know if this is a bug or a feature?

Without savegame it's impossible to tell what happens in your particular case.
The damage counter is reset at every stops, could it be that the platform has automated travel, one asteroid collector is destroyed during one trip, but the platform start another trip, and the damage counter reset, and you only notice afterward ?
One way to rule this out would be to know wether the "automated request for construction" tickbox is active and wether or not the platform is allowed to continue moving if some request ( for construction ) are pending

I'll send the save later today. But it's definitely not that the damage counter is reset. Collectors disappear during one trip. We literally sit here watching the platform moving to the destroyed planet, and we see how there are less and less of the collectors. They disappear about 1 per 2 minutes.

Also, on "Kills" statistics I see that some of the collectors are destroyed, even though the damage is still 0

I will have a look at the save when i can, but my first hypothesis would be
that if it appears as "kills" it is friendly fire, "killed by player" and "damage taken" would represent asteroid collisions. So i would look for explosive rockets, maybe sometimes exploding too close to the ship, or the rails guns shooting at their max angle. I think remembering in recent version something was modified concerning the railguns, so knowing the version of the game in which you observed this behavior would also help to confirm i'm attempting to see the same thing.
Edit :
After loading the save i think the cause is the railguns, when hovering over the railgun the closest to the asteroid collector the hitbox of the nearby collector shows in red, indicating that it is at risk. And i was wrong about the meaning of the statistics :

Your rails guns are probably shooting them. Pull the collectors back.
When you are placing a railgun, look for anything that gets highlighted in red. That means it can end up in the firing line of the railgun and may get destroyed, so make sure nothing is highlighted when the railgun is placed.

Ah, I see. Thank you so much! I had no idea that the railguns have friendly fire, and there's no notifications when collectors are destroyed.
