Title says it all. On my current map, i only seem to have a very small tungsten ore patch near by. I've explored very far around in editor mode to try and find some.. I wouldnt mind trying to go far to get some, but i actually can't find any besides my starting patch

Any help with that? Or am i doomed to restart and hope for the best

The save file is marked as private and I can't download it.

I've had this issue too. You have to search VERY far, because the ore patch spawn inside like the lava puddle and if the patch to spawn seems bigger than he patches available nothing spawns it seems. I almost also made a bug report then explored further and found a secondary patch, but ups tanked then cause of all the biters. So each, tungsten doesn't spawn easily especially when resource frequency set to Min and size to max.

The closest tungsten ore patch seem to be to south-west, some 1700 tiles away, through territories of 3 small, 1 medium, and 2 big demolishers.
(Also I haven't found another coal patch yet.)

I'm guessing it's due to Vulcanus' volcanism terrain setting set to max scale, max coverage?

So I’m guessing that there’s no other choices than to restart, no way I’m getting through all that at this point, already having trouble with the small ones, ain’t no way I’m getting through big ones..

Tungsten spawns in valleys between volcanoes (https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-386). By turning up volcanism, you made pretty much all the terrain be gigantic volcanoes with no room for valleys. There are many map generator settings that are "unfair" or "unwinnable" but it's not a bug.
