Turret stream damage calculation

Heya,
I have a turret that use a type="stream" (Akin to a flamethrower turret we know and love)
I have set it up to have a very slow firing rate, basically sending out a shot ever couple of seconds.
The issue is that the displayed damage calculation of it, seems very wrong.
For example, the stream on hit does 200 damage, but it only shoots a bit of stream every 2 seconds (1 piece of 'fluid'). So this would mean like something like 100 damage per second. or it would be nice for it to show like a projectile, where it just states it's damage per hit.
Instead it shows a 'theoretical' steady constant stream of damage, which is weird because you can define a cooldown/firerate for the stream, which doesn't seem to be considered. so it instead says something like 6k damage/second.
Any help to display it nicely, or is this just an inherited UI bug from 'stream' based turrets?
Cheers
