I am not sure how to describe it. But it seems that when you are close to the Foundry and when you can click into it, it will act normal. But when you are far away and you cant click into the foundry, a bug will happen

Thanks for the report however that is working correctly: the items in the input got moved to the trash slots because they are no longer valid for the current recipe and you were too far away to put them into your inventory.
