reactor heating quickly(solved by self)

hi im new to the game (40h) and i cant seem to cool my reactor properly i insert 2 fuel and it gets too 800°c then i delete it to prevent a melt down ive added the blueprint as a string and a screen shot to the reactor below

Hi sprogofpunk

A reactor being destroyed e.g. by biters if above 900°C will explode and can trigger a chain reaction, but other than that it's no problem: they just max out at 1000°C.
It's highly inefficient though, your precious fuel cells are simply wasted.
You should look for a way to synchronize fuel insertion to maximize the neighbour bonus, and only insert new fuel if e.g. the temperature is not too high, or your steam storage is running low.
