[2.0.28] Can't connect transport belt with green wire when it's adjacent to a combinator

Tried to connect a belt with green wire, instead of the chosen transportation belt the adjacent combinator was connected.
The behavior is easy reproducible:
- try to connect belt and click it
- instead of the belt the combinator is connected
Both arithmetic and decider combinator and both input and output side show this behavior.

Thanks for the report however i cannot reproduce any issues. You seem to have some mods installed, without a save file and reproduction steps there is nothing that can be done.

OP, did you finish connecting the green wire to a target?
Because in that setup (a belt right next to a combinator) it may look like the wire is connecting to the combinator, but it's indeed connecting to the belt.
Connecting a wire to the combinator looks a little bit differently:

Yep - that's the trick

I was expecting that the belt shows a connection immediately after clicking - AFAIR the behavior in V1

- obviously the same happens even without an adjacent combinator

Sorry for the false positive and thx for the quick replies.
