Pink/Violet Lasers?

In my game the laser turrets are yellow. Why are they in Nilaus games pink/violet?

They are the same colour as your character.
You can change your character's colour on the inventory screen.
I don't think this will update any turrets placed already but should colour the new ones

All turrets update their color to the players character whenever it is changed.
