Make Space Platform UI feel more like Player UI

TL;DR
The UI for Space Platforms behaves differently to the in-person Player UI in several ways, and I think minor changes would improve QOL for myself and new players, if not all players.

What?
So far I have two distinct ways the UI is different on Space Platforms and doesn't need to be. There may be more, and I'll add them here if I find any.

-Left click can't be used to select items from the Hub. By select, I mean what you would currently describe as pipette. But I want to be able to just select things, as I do from my hotbar, or my own inventory.

-Cannot currently "drop" "selected" items into buildings. The ability to assign a precise type of module to a blueprinted but unbuilt building is a great improvement and should stay. But suppose I have already 5 buildings, and each needs to be equipped with a speed module and a productivity module? I would like to be able to do this a very few mouse clicks and 10 presses of the z key. The current process is slower and more cumbersome - needing to open each building, place module in the building, close the building, etc.

-Cannot split stacks? I wanted to pick up the 39 modules in the Hub, click 3 of them back there because I want 3 of them to remain, and send the rest to surface. It seems I will need to send all to surface and then waste resources sending 3 back.
Why?
I keep misusing the UI, until I remember that I have to use it differently. A certain popular pre-2.0 mod had a much quicker learning curve for the out-of-body experience because the aspects I mentioned above behave so similarly to the in-person experience.

It seems to me that these changes should be easy to implement, and not impact gameplay for those using the current methods.
