What did you do?
I left Factorio running overnight researching mining productivity, after leaving the game running for many hours.
What happened?
I woke up to the game having crashed in the middle of the night.

Seems to have been various file access errors in the log.

00007FFE2D8F28BF (ntdll): (filename not available): _chkstk
00007FFE2D8A2554 (ntdll): (filename not available): RtlRaiseException
00007FFE2D8F13CE (ntdll): (filename not available): KiUserExceptionDispatcher

00007FFE2CF17374 (KERNEL32): (filename not available): BaseThreadInitThunk
00007FFE2D89CC91 (ntdll): (filename not available): RtlUserThreadStart
What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
I expected the game... not to crash
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
First time this has occured for me.

Unfortunately I forgot to re-enable autosave (I disable it when im testing things in a different save, IDK why its global and not per-save setting to autosave) but I have attached the save from before the issue occurred. I will update this if it happens again.

Looks like a hardware issue, see 114778. If you find a way to reproduce it let us know.

Might be, hardware is all fresh and BIOS is up to date but I couldn't get it to happen again so best I can and will do is just to re-report if it happens again, I suppose
