I have a slight problem with captured spawners. I have an inserter feeding it bioflux, but some times the flux spoils in the hand of the inserter and unlike the biochamber the spawner doesn't seem to accept spoilage as input so the inserter gets stuck and eventualy the spawner goes wild again.
Is there any way to handle this without manualy removing the spoilage from the inserter?

If this is happening, you are probably not permanently removing the eggs from the spawner, which I guess is ok but has drawbacks like the one you mentioned.

So, I imagine you can reduce the stack size of the inserter to 1 and connect a cable from the inserter to the spawner to check the spawner has space before trying to insert, once in the spawner spoilage can be managed no problem by the output inserter

Aha, yes, I just let the eggs sit in there and remove them only when I need them. So that might be the problem then.

I don't think you can connect any wire to the spawner though. But I guess I can rempve the eggs and just burn them in a heating tower unless needed for something.

Glat to help, anyways I think is a real hustle. It should be a cleaning way to solve this bcs leaving the egg there should be a valid strategy.

I got 4 spawners and i take out all eggs. The belt transports them to the production facilities. At the end there is a burner to burn everything. Everything that reaches the end of the belt is immediately burnt. This way no eggs can spoil. A sushi belt holds the bioflox (20 pices) to feed the spawners. They get fed the most spoiled ones first and the freshest from the requester chest are put on the belt. All spoilage goes to the belt with the eggs as they travel to the burner.
