Hi,
before today, while playing, I thought I had understood how to do it, but it's not working so much today so I'm guessing I didn't understand. (In vanilla game, with the dlc.)

I have a spidertron with some roboport, etc. It can build outposts, mines, on planets where I'm not, or even far away from me on the planet I'm on.

My main issue is that when I build roboport on the outposts, I'm not really successful at the "filling" them.
I want to put some robots in it, then the repair tools.


Before I was doing this:
going to the roboport, using the ghost hand to put construction robots (like 2 x50 of them) in the slots of the robo ports, and same for the repair tool.
Then robots would go from the spidertron to the roboport, and other would take the repair tools.

I used this today too, but... no robots go to the roboport, and almost no robot (on the > 100 that the spidertron roboport allow to work) work on the transport of repair tools.
Yesterday and the previous month (I have been playing like non stop for 1 month now) it did work a lot but now I'm not sure if I didn't do something else... but what?

So how to do it?

i am having the same problem. looks like it is caused by the update?

i tried to load my old save in 2.0.23 and it is working fine. the spidertron will fill the roboport with construction bot once you placed the ghost in map view.
in 2.0.28, even with all mods disabled, the spidertron will never fill the roboport.

i am about report this bug and found this post. it seemed it is not a common issue though...

There was a bug where a robot could get stuck in a loop trying to carry *itself* from the spider to the roboport. That's probably what changed it. Likely worth making a report about because I think that is a valid use case.
