Spoilage trigger for technologies?

What?
Add a technology trigger that occurs when a particular item is produced via spoilage.
Why?
I am currently developing a planet mod where the core mechanic is a new resource that changes between different states using spoilage. For example item A spoils into item B, which spoils into item C, and finally back in item A. In particular, items B and C can only be obtained through letting item A spoil. Setting a CraftItemTechnologyTrigger with item C does not trigger the technology as expected.

Having a spoilage technology trigger in the game would force players to understand that items B and C have to be obtained through letting item A spoil on purpose.
