"Copper Cable" VS. "Copper Wire" - Suggestions for a better distinction, or 'recent' variables?

Hey! First time posting here in the forums, so if perhaps there's somewhere this'd be better suited for discussion of just let me know and I can always move the post.
With that being said though, I wanted to get something out here to bring attention to a thing I ran into whilst playing with combinators for a very very long while. It seems that in the midst of bodging together some circuit network and using decider combinators to perform some logic when working with Green Circuits, somewhere in the mix I had some rather inconsistent results coming through on my outputs. Admitting to the fact that I do have a tendency to 'rush' things when it comes to creating simple circuit networks, often my default keybind to search for items in a jiffy is CTRL+F. Looking back at the mess I made today, I happened to notice the issue was related to me choosing accidentally between the two items that actually have the very same icon:
I've taken a small gif clip of what I'd seen here:

I think in the process of me working with a bunch of the unique quality-related items, the thought that I could even be selecting the wrong item in this case never crossed my mind until I came back to it another day. Has anyone else run into this in much of the same way, or is it just me? In either case, having either the ability to show something like "Recently Used" variables as a toggle-able option in the interface, or an icon change to copper wire/cable would be much appreciated here.
