Jumpstarting Aquilo

How did you do it?
I placed a nuclear reactor, fueled it, and got heat pipes distributing heat.
I ended up sending down barreled water from orbit, hooking about 16 solar panels up to an assembler (and not the rest of the base), and having it unbarrel water for the boilers so steam could be made. That got power up for the rest of the base, but it felt kind of clutzy.
I can tell that dealing with excess ice is going to be an issue. Cracking ammonium solution to ammonia for rocket fuel produces a lot of excess.
