Copy filter between splitter and inserter/assembler

TL;DR
Expand the copy filter functionality to include splitters for the interaction that already exists between inserters and assemblers.
What
Currently there is a feature I like a lot, which is allowing the inserter filter to be copied from assemblers (or other similar machines). This allows for fast building when fiddling around. Building with belts feels left out of this equation. Below how filter interaction could work.
  • Splitter to inserter -> Copy over filtering, ingoring Right/Left output.
  • Inserter to Splitter -> Copy over filtering, keeping original Right/Left output priority if it has any.
  • Assembler to Splitter -> Copy over filtering, keeping original Right/Left output priority if it has any.
  • Splitter to Assembler -> Set recipe that applies for product if assembler can make it, ignoring Right/Left output priority.
Why?
I was working on a build with quality and noticed that I wanted to filter out items by quality. My inserters where not fast enough for the green belts so I opted to used splitters to side track the belt so the insert has enough time to pick it up. Here I noticed I could not copy my filter preferences between inserters and splitters when refactoring my belts.

I decided to make a mod for it, for everyone interested:
