Hello, I have an inquiry.
If I select peaceful mode in the game creation, does it imply that the aliens will not initiate an attack until I strike first? Consequently, when I commence the destruction of a nest, would they respond by attacking my base as per usual?

Peaceful mode means the enemies will not gather and run an attack on the base if the pollution cloud touches the nests. And enemies will not send patrols to create new nests (enemy expansion).

How enemies behave if you walk near nests I don't remember, but I guess they will attack if you come too near and engage fight, if you even fire at them. This is something you can very easily yourself: create a new map with everything default, just adjust the starting area to 0%. This way enemy bases are very near the spawn point. Start the map and walk near a nest. You will see how enemies will behave immediately, much faster than anyone on the forum would be able to answer your question.
