Logistics robots will take goods from green boxes far away, but not from nearby red boxes.I think the priority of the red box and the green box should be the same. Where to get it is decided based on the distance. Why is this not the case starting from 2.0?

Red chests are the last priority for bots to take items from, because red chests are designed for you to deposit manufactured items into. The bots aren't allowed to put anything in like they are with yellow or green or blue chests.

If the bots could take from red chests, you could end up overproducing items when you already had plenty in storage. The intent is that bots take items out of purple (where you're not concerned about overproduction, e.g. emptied barrels), then yellow and green (storage), and last of all red when you don't have enough of something otherwise.

If you need a nearby chest for bots to take things out of, green is what you need.

Is it in this order? I always feel a little weird

It would be nice if this priority was indicated somehow on the tech graphic...

I don't read Chinese, but the pictures make it clear.

Robots fetching supplies will take items from, in this order:

• The player and active provider (purple) chests
• Storage (yellow) chests and buffer (green) chests
• Passive provider (red) chests

Robots delivering supplies will deliver to, in this order:

• The player and requester (blue) chests which request from buffer chests
• Requester (blue) chests not requesting from buffer chests
• Buffer (green) chests [if they're making a request]
• Filtered (yellow) storage chests
• Storage (yellow) chests already containing the same type of item
• Other storage (yellow) chests [see the wiki for details]
