Insufficient logistics supply

I have 1.0k Available logistic bots in the network, and a chest requesting copper plates. Only 8-14 plates are "on the way" at any time. This is causing a bottleneck.

I tried increasing the quantity requested from 100 to 1.0k, this had no effect.

How do I get more robots to service the request?

my solution is to integrate filtered storage chests on the production side. So they are allways items near by when you have high capacity

Also have enough roboports for your working robots help. limit the number of robots in the network to a value that your existing roboports can cope with. Use additional roboports in places where robos are waiting to be loaded. From my experience, the whole logistical network works well as long as you don't reach your limits.

Hello Amorelia!
Wonderful name by the way.

I strongly suspect the problem you are facing is because there simply are not enough copper plates in your logistics network for your bots to actually deliver.
Try placing down some inserters and passive provider chests on a copper plate supply belt somewhere to supercharge the available copper plates in your logistics network.

There are several other reasons this would cause a problem, if the above reason doesn't solve it, let me know and I'll write up a more comprehensive post to help you out.
