Are you looking to streamline your Factorio production, especially for items that aren't needed in large quantities, such as signals, train stations, pipes and modules? The "Factory of the Future" blueprint offers a dynamic approach to automated manufacturing, capable of producing a wide range of items within a single, compact factory. By leveraging a sophisticated combinator network, this blueprint adapts to changing resource availability and production demands, ensuring optimal efficiency and minimal downtime. The second factory is used to get the recipe for the products.
Key Features
Versatility: Capable of producing a wide range of items, from basic components to advanced technologies.
Efficiency: Dynamic production system optimizes resource utilization and minimizes idle time.
Compact Design: Space-efficient design allows for multiple factories in a small area.
Scalability: Easily adaptable to different production needs.
Ideal for Niche Production: Perfect for producing items that aren't required in large quantities, such as signals, train stations, pipes and modues.
Lubricant Integration: Uses a pipe system for products requiring lubricant.
Seamless Logistic Integration: Equipped with requester and provider chests for easy integration into your logistic network.
Important Note
To ensure the smooth operation of the "Factory of the Future," it's crucial to include all intermediate products in the list of items to be produced. This ensures a continuous supply of necessary components and prevents production bottlenecks.

You can set the items to be produced in the combinator in the upper left.
Make sure to add all required intermediate products.

When you mentioned 'minimal downtime,' I was really interested in how you solved the problem of machine material overfill during recipe swaps. I've been working on a simple combinator setup that prevents adding materials if the system 'knows' the recipe will change in the next production cycle, but I haven't fully completed it yet. Without this optimization, some recipes work fine, but processes requiring more materials, like the electromagnetic plant, are significantly slower.

If you dont want to overfill the machine with material then limit the inserters to add only the amount of materials as needed.
I used that method at my Multi-Assembler setup. You know that you need 100 gears? Then set memory cell with 200 iron plates and et voila, your machine will only produce 100 gears without overfilling and instantly changing recipes.

Well that was also a problem that I needed to put "read on hold" for input inserter becouse if I dont, switching recipes may go crazy (did I mention that recipe is chosen with condition if there is enough material to produce?) and I need to include inserter contain for recipe deciding algoritm.

Better open a new thread in gameplay help to discuss your problem or have a look at my blueprint some threads below here. This thread should be more focused on Xardasdm creation

I tested the mall and encountered this problem
This chest becomes clogged over time, the inserter drags one pack, but does not touch the rest items.

This ist to save storage in the logistic chest. Only one stack per Item (+ inserter stack size) is transferred to the supplier chest. Once the items are used again, or requested by the network, the rest will be transferred.
