Easier selective deconstruction

TL;DR
Introduce fast and easy way to set filters for deconstruction planner.
Now
It's really tedious to setup deconstruction planner for specific things, especially if you need to remove 10s of structures from the system with even more of them.
Fix
Imagine you want to deconstruct only inserters and belts around your assemblers.
You can pick-up deconstruction planner using "Alt+D", and then use "Q" on each thing you want to set as filter (adds them to a whitelist).

Then, just draw a selection box over everything, and you will destroy specified staff!

(Whitelist/Blacklist toggle hotkey might be introduced as well)
("Q" should be changed to an other hotkey, as now "Q" is used for removing stuff from your cursor. I would suggest "F", as it's not used for flipping anymore, and it usually won't interfere with anything in 1.1 as well)
Why?
This is convenient in 2 ways:
1. You don't need to occupy additional inventory slot in inventory to destroy specific things.
2. In Space Age DLC, as you don't have any inventory - you will be able to use deconstruction planner without leaving Remove View.
Less inconvenience - more game-play!
Retroactive patching
It would of been nice to add this feature to 1.1 as well. There's currently no mod that can make the same thing, and I personally can't handle modding at the moment. I bet a lot of players still playing with mods will be glad to receive such update.
Upgrade Planner
Same thing can be done for upgrade planner. By using "Q" (or rather "F") you can whitelist specific things you want to upgrade.
Useful when you want to upgrade inserters, while keeping belts on the same tier or an other way around.

Nice idea, though 'F' is not that straightforward, as it's already used to pick up items from ground.

Yeah, it's kind of weird that you can't put them into chests in remote view ??
You can put them in your blueprint library though and edit them from there.
Retroactive patching
You're asking Wube to open a big can of worms here, imagine all the other requests that will follow !
Unlike SA, 2.0 is free, and the vast majority of mods can be updated to work in it.
(Otherwise I would be tempted myself to ask Wube to patch 0.16 so that games with mods impossible in 0.17+ can still get more QoL, but IMHO it's more reasonable to ask them to add back modding capabilities to 2.0 that were lost with 0.17.)

Been thinking about this recently, but I would make middle mouse button click the default instead of Q. Middle-mouse (aka mouse wheel click) is already used to set filters for inventory slots (like cargo wagon) so it kind of fits better.

For a workaround we are likely able to make a mod that does this. Using middle-click input as "non-consuming", create new deconstruction planner in hand with a filter that is the mouseover entity. I don't know if we can do the act of equipping an item on characters hand...

What if when you edit a deconstruction planner, there is a button for "select and add entities" that works like the "select new contents" does for blueprints? You would drag a selection, and everything in it would be added to the deconstruction planner (in addition to what was there already). After that it would be easy to right-click away anything you didn't want to include. And since you usually have the unwanted entities on screen when you would want to create the planner, it should be very convenient.

Yeah, middle mouse click definitely works better!
Although, some gaming mouses have very tight or unclickable middle mouse buttons, so I hope a way to modify that hotkey via "Controls" panel will be introduced as well.

That was the only way around for me.
But I had so much blueprints, that I was forced to reorder them to free-up one line for temporary blueprints.
And we can't even make this menu bigger. Very inconvenient, nada!

Maybe, but it's vertically infinite (so why «free up one line» ??) and has 3 «zoom levels», and you can put them into books...

Oh yeah, I have this issue, though this is probably limited to fancier mice like mine, which also has a left-er click button (called 'search'), which I re-bound to be the 'middle' click...

Wow, TIL. I never even noticed those buttons.

Although, I kind of hate the other two.
