What did I do last:
At that time, I was on a train, and my friend was using a drone to collect data and build in VUCLNUS.

What happened:
  • My friend and I were playing online, and after half an hour (at 23:17), the game suddenly lagged, and movement became choppy.
  • I observed that the server's memory slowly increased from 1.32GB (at 22:51) to 1.34GB (at 23:06), and finally to 1.37GB (at 23:17).
  • The disk I/O (read) went from 800KB/s (at 22:51) to 1500KB/s (at 23:06), and finally to 216072KB/s (at 23:17).
What did I expect to happen instead:
The game should not consume such high disk I/O.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes:
It has consistently reproduced twice: the game started at 22:00 and lagged by 22:30; after restarting the server, the game started at 22:49 and lagged by 23:17.

Reproduction steps:
  1. Launch headless server
  2. Connect to the server
  3. Wait 30 minutes for the game to crash
Active mods:
  • Base Mod [2.0.15]
  • Elevated Rails [2.0.15]
  • Quality [2.0.15]
  • Space Age [2.0.15]

It looks like your sever is running out if RAM and is paging to disk.

Thank you for your reply. My server has 2GB of memory, and it ran smoothly before the Space Age DLC was released. I will try using a server with more memory.
