Robots stuck in air

Typical problem, I'm sure.
What's going on here? So many logistics robots hanging around mid air. I've got a row of blue chests (request chests), set to 9999999-INF concrete, and I have a ton of supply chests with concrete elsewhere (same network), and the chests are being filled, but why are these robots just hanging around in mid air?

You're probably missing storage containers for them to drop their load.

I've got like 8 active requester chests requesting nothing but concrete, and there are lots of robots coming in with concrete, but there are so many hanging in mid air. Following your advice I built 8 storage chests, and they still hang. Appreciate the suggestion, but I don't think that's it.

the chests are full I guess? you are requesting more concrete than the chests can hold, so the bots show up to an already full chest trying to fulfill the request but the chest has no room so they are stuck. change your request to be at most 4800 I think it is (48 stacks * 100 per stack for concrete, I think).

Or maybe they are waiting to charge first. I think their need to charge has priority over delivering items.

Yeah, charging is probably the answer. And in 2.0 they prioritise roboports closer to their target, so if you made them deliver a large amount of items to those chests, they will definitely clump around those roboports queuing for the charge pads.
