[Raiguard] [2.0.15] Tiny cursor on Wayland

The "tiny" seems to be constant pixel size, as it's less bad on my lower resolution monitor. The screenshot was taken on a 4k display. Problem goes away when switching back to X11.

I believe this to be related to a Steam update which messed up the cursor in a similar way, and swapping to 2.0.14 retroactively caused the problem there too (it was fine before). Maybe it has something to do with the fallback changes added in the Steam Nov 5th update? I can't easily test launching without Steam since I'm on NixOS, but I can do that if necessary.

Edit: It appears to be closely related to the Steam Runtime fallback - launching steam with -compat-force-slr off partially fixed the issue, but the cursor theme seemed to change??

Note that this appears to be a different issue than viewtopic.php?f=58&t=113202 given that this is newly introduced issue and that the workarounds in that post did not work

After today's updates to the Steam Linux Runtime, the mouse cursor is now extremely tiny.

Since I'm not sure which one Factorio uses, here's all the versions:
Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout) appid: 1070560 buildid: 15348173

Oh hey, I should mention that I also use NixOS just like the OP here.

Performed a system update from https://releases.nixos.org/nixos/unstab ... prs.tar.xz to https://releases.nixos.org/nixos/unstab ... prs.tar.xz and a Factorio update to 2.0.17 and the problem remains.

Today Debian testing was updated to Plasma 6.2.3 and cursor became tiny in game. Workaround with setting environment variable XCURSOR_THEME is working for now

I'm going to give the same answer that I gave in 113202: This is an SDL2 issue that is fixed in SDL3.

Edit: Somehow I completely overlooked the linked SDL GitHub issue in that post. I am investigating.
