I usually play without enemies, so i started my first game without them. I prefer the production puzzle.

Now I realise i'm stuck, productivity 3 modules requires you to "capture a biter nest" first, how do you do that if there are no biters?
I understand there is a big console command to add biters into an existing game but i dont really want to do that.

I'd appreciate any help (and yes i know starting over exists but thats not an option to me).

Which mode did you choose when starting the game? Even when disabling enemies biter nests should still spawn.

As far as i remember i clicked the "no enemies" option.

Was just running around nauvis and couldnt find any nests. Or i'm just looking in the wrong place.

Feel free to attach your save file so I can check the settings. There are probably nests on Nauvis if you explore a bit further.

Ok found the option.
I ran around the map a bit and couldnt find anything, unless i'm blind.

For this save the peaceful/no enemies map gen settings were not used. It looks like you used a command like https://wiki.factorio.com/Console#Preve ... ted_chunks instead which is kinda outside of regular user support. I fixed your save regardless...

I just checked that setting you mentioned at game gives me the message that using any console command will disable achievements, and i can definately say my achievements are enabled.
So something wierd is going on here
Same thing happened with the savegame of a friend which we mostly play together. No biter bases and we have been getting achievements all game.

I just realised. Could this be a result from the map/save being created in 1.1 to get q little headstart on release?
