Allow negative multipliers for logistic groups

What?
Logistic groups are awesome! Could we allow negative multipliers for logistic groups though? Currently, setting a negative multiplier clips to 0 and outputs nothing.
Why?
Negative signals are allowed, so why not negative multipliers to logistic groups?
You can already select negative values in eg requester chests, so it's not going to break logistics.
Yes, you can invert signals with an arithmetic combinator, but that inverts the entire signal, rather than being able to change the multiplier for separate logistic groups.

Oh, I LOVE this. And it's nothing we can't accomplish now in-game by duplicating the group ourselves and negating every value manually. It just removes that tedium.

Isn't this already possible to do if you put the logistic group on a constant combinator ? you can then set negative number.

You can set individual items to negative values (as you always could), but you cannot set the multiplier to the whole group to a negative value. At least not when I've tested it.
I found this because I started out with an auto-mall using the new assembler set recipe tech, using negative values in a combinator to define how many of each item I wanted to craft. Then, when I got logistics, I realized all the items I was adding to my personal request was just the auto-mall requests, inverted. So I tried to set the mall logistic group * -1 to my personal request. However, because you cannot set negative multipliers, it clipped to zero, and trashed my entire inventory lol

I may be missing something there, is it possible to use any kind of multiplier at all ? positive ?

Click the pencil next to the group to change the group/name, and there is a multiplier option

And it accepts values between 0 and 100:

It would be great if that range was increased at both ends. I found myself wanting to request bigger multipliers and failing immediately after discovering this multiplier is a thing. And when added I think the negative multipliers should have as big of a range as the positive ones.

Thanks !
+1 for the negative multiplier :d

I just ran into this myself today when adjusting my wall resupply train.
Negative numbers are accepted as a multiplier, but they are ignored and treated as 1. So is 0.
Please recognize the negation instead of simply setting it to a multiplier of 1.
Thank you!
Workaround: select the group you want to adjust in a constant combinator and send that to an arithmatic combinator to do the multipllication

+1 I have a bunch of duplicate logistics groups that just have inverted sign in the item counts

This is/was already a thing! But, the practical application of it is/was
a bit buggy.. I have not found this mechanism reliable, but it’s there….
