When playing Factorio Space Age on the steam deck, the cursor that is controllable with the trackpads disappears sometimes. It seems especially common when using remote view and adjusting recipes in machines. It appears sort of like Z fighting. It will disappear when hovering over some items in the recipe list but not others.

Yep happens to me as well.

Would be great to get this fixed. Driving me crazy playing on SteamDeck. Muscle memory can only go so far in guessing the location of pointer.

I can't reproduce the issue.
The trackpad cursor disappears when the left or right sticks are moved(even a little). Make use you don't have stick drift and possibly increase "Stick deadzone" in Settings->Controls.
