Hi All,

I've asked this in discord and people said it was a bug and to report it here, so hopefully someone can help and / or this can get fixed.

Basically i have random space platforms off in space, detached from the hub.
When i try to attach these platforms to each other, i get a blue box with a flashing warning sign.
This also happens when i try to attach to the main platform.
I do have plenty of platform in the hub to use for construction, so its not a case of missing resources.

When i try to deconstruct, nothing happens, i get the deconstruct icon, but they stick about.

I'm able to lead the platforms around by building off the side like a game of 2000s phone Snake but no matter what i try i cant get them to connect to other platforms.

Hello, how did you get into this state? It shouldn't be possible without scripting.

Unfortunately i have no idea. I was building my platform out in a massive square just so i could figure out how to use it and how it worked and started finding lots of those blue connection errors between pieces, and i couldnt figure out how to fix it. Then i thought i would just remove them all and start over, which left these bits just floating there.

Definitely no scripting or modding or using editor mode or anything like that.

The only thing i can think of that mightve broken it, is when i had a small square i had some asteroid collectors around the edge, then as i expanded, i built around those... and tried removing everything. Thats the only thing i can think of that mightve had an effect.

Ive been playing around with trying to reproduce it by doing this, and i cant.

Small island, put down the collectors, build around it, and then deconstruct.
I get the same blue lines everywhere where pieces dont like joining together, but when i deconstruct, it does actually all decon properly.
It seems to work from outside in, so the piece connecting to the hub is the last piece to go (which makes absolute sense)
