[2.0.13] Pentapod egg productivity bonus is off by 1?

The Pentapod egg recipe (30 Nutrients + 60 Water + 1 Egg => 2 Egg) doesn't seem to obey the same productivity rules as other recipes. When the purple bar fills, it only grants 1 bonus pentapod egg instead of 2. Placing 2 pentapod eggs in a biolab (with the default +50% productivity) results in 5 eggs instead of (what I would expect to be) 6.
Most other recipes in the game do "one extra craft". For example on "Nutrients from yumako mash" (4 Yumako mash => 6 Nutrients) placing 8 Yumako mash in a biolab results in 18 Nutrients.
I do not know if this affects other recursive recipes.
I am aware that changing the behavior might break some existing Gleba bases (as having more eggs all of a sudden where you can't consume them may cause them to hatch and eat up the base). However, I also cannot figure out if the current math is intended or not.
Note: The production rate indicator when hovering the biolab calculates (0.33 eggs/sec) the current behavior, where you only get 1 bonus egg.
