[2.0.13] Thousands of Logistic robots unreasonably stacking at single roboport

I've experienced several occurrences of 40k robots making a charging doughnut around a single roboport while tens of roboports nearby remained relatively unused, compared to this specific one:
Please look at it asap as this issue causes heavy frame drops, and the new robot logic was one of the biggest features my friends and I were looking for.
I attached the save that should still contain the ring before dismissing it by deconstructing the roboport.
(This was happening in an earlier version as well, just letting you know)
This is also quite similar to 117769 (but there wasn't any power outage in my case to my knowledge)
Cheers,
Jouki

This definitely needs looked at. I am also having the same issue, and someone else mentions it here as well - viewtopic.php?f=18&t=117166

I got this issue too a couple times to on Fulgora. The only solution I had was to remove the roboport

I'm having the same issue as well, though it's my first time using more than a couple hundred construction bots so I don't know if this is different behaviour from previous builds of the game.

Been having this happen on my save, and I know no power outages were involved. Usually happens when I have a Large (>50k/min) number of bots crossing a small area, and happens more frequently the denser the burst of bots is. Density of available roboports does not seem to help - I had this happen in the middle of a large (at least 12x12 roboports, with only spaces for substations) field of roboports, where only 3 were used, and the others were totally empty.
I think the issue involves incorrect counting of bots with low/empty battery?
If it matters, this is a save upgraded from 1.0, though it's been over 100 hours since the upgrade, and it's still happening as of yesterday at least (I've not moved enough items with bots at once since then to test it).
It happened reliably with a electric miner into active provider chest I had; at mining productivity 150+, the miners were spitting out lots of ore, and were not super close to the storage chests, and the routes, despite being full of unused roboports, would always have the same 3 roboports filled with tens of thousands of bots in the charge queue by the time I noticed the UPS hit, every few hours (8-10?).

I put an epic roboport and it helped a lot

Thanks for the report. This looks like a duplicate of 117641. Can you still reproduce it?

Yes I believe so, in big logistic requests/processes, the issue still appears (image taken a few minutes ago, on 2.0.20):

It would be fixed from 2.0.21 onwards, so .20 does not say anything.

There was no specification on which version I should test it- hence I refer to the default available version...

As of 20.0.22 I haven't spotted any robot rings. Consider it as fixed
