It was really disappointing I had to make my platform from scratch again after my first failed flight to another planet, and I also unfortunately found out I should have blueprinted it beforehand. My platform exploding wasn't necessarily the sad part, it's that I lost the design and had to remake it rather than tweak it.

I was expecting it to work like other destroyed objects where the ghost was preserved and I just had to let the logistics network reconstruct things, but instead it was entirely destroyed which was upsetting.

Also requesting this. My warehouses died to the landmine update before I could switch them to manual. Now I lost all the requests they had configured.

I'm surprised platforms that are worth worrying about would get trashed in orbit - evidently it failed badly if that is the case or it was being built somewhere other than Nauvis.
If it got trashed on route somewhere, then how does it get back to be repaired? Do we need tug rescue platforms, perhaps with a machine for capturing ghosts?
