Control/Option to disable tab auto-complete in chat

Hello!
Small request, I'd like to have an option to adjust (or disable entirely) the keybind for autocomlete in the terminal/chat window.
I often accidentally click tilde instead of tab while playing, I then press tab again thinking the game/keyboard didn't catch the input, which then seems to trigger the auto-complete to fil in the rather large "/help" command.
This pushes chat history off screen, and there doesn't appear to be a way to scroll back to see what was said (the chat window being a whole other improvement suggestion lol).
