Limiting animation speed of production machines

Hi, so I was wondering how difficult would it be to limit/cap the animation speed on all production machines?
Personally, I think most of the machines' animations look far better when operating at normal speeds (no speed modules or beacon effect). However, this would have to exclude logistics for obvious reasons.
Is this a "quick fix" or a monumental project? Or maybe somewhere in between?
